California State University, Fresno Athletics was looking for a unique and new way to engage with their fans. They chose the airship because nobody else had done it and it really makes a big statement.
The first flight over the only open home scrimmage was in August of 2015. The airship continues to fly carrying specific messaging and of course the branding in the main position. The aircraft has been so well received it is regularly featured in news stories both locally and internationally. Feature stories have been done by NBC, CBS Sports, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, San Jose Mercury News and USA Today to name a few.
The coverage the blimp has gained is truly unmeasurable and well exceeds direct impression of over 1,000,000. The campaign is a raging success and will the airship will continue to represent the brand for many years and sports seasons to come.
